Microllam® LVL

Microllam^® LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) is one of the older Trus Joist^® products but still a versatile performer in a wide range of structural applications. Microllam^® LVL is engineered from large sheets of veneer laminated together to form a rectangular beam product. Each veneer is graded ultrasonically so the veneer mix can be tailored to meet the required design characteristics. This makes consistently straight and stable sections, virtually eliminating shrinkage and twist when used properly. It can be used as window and garage door headers, floor beams, floor joists, roof beams and roof joists/rafters.
