Can I Drill a Hole Vertically Through a Beam?

Possibly. The strength of the beam will be decreased as a result of the hole. If it is possible to run the wire beside the beam, do that. If not, contact Weyerhaeuser Technical Support for a "Repair Request."  We will need the beam span(s) and all load information for analysis.
