Can I Paint or Stain Microllam, Parallam & Timberstrand?

Yes. If a wax overlay is present the surface should be sanded. Treated Parallam Plus PSL can also be painted or stained (see question 15 on page 15 of the Treated Parallam Plus Specifier's Guide for more information). For a more aesthetically pleasing finished interior look, Parallam can be sanded and stained/ varnished.
