Finger Jointed Timberstrand® LSL

Finger jointed TimberStrand^® LSL beams are permitted for 1.6E and lower grades per our ICC-ES Report No. ESR-1387 (Section 3.4). There are no limitations on where the finger joint can occur in a member and no reductions in design capacity.  A Finger Joint TimberStrand^® LSL beam should be considered equivalent to a non-finger jointed beam. The Finger Joint beams are proof tested and the joint is stamped for product quality purposes.
